It's hard to believe that Apia is already a year old! We had a pretty mellow weekend (no big birthday bashes), although it did include a visit from his cousins and a pretty cake (decorated by his daddy!). Here are some of the highlights.

also, the picture of apia in the mulch, looking up -- it reminds me of how gabriel looked at that age. even the hair is the same.

The photos are darling! Gabriel, dad made the same comment about Apia and the mulch! Also the cake was a work of art. How long did THAT take you??

Just wanted to say thanks again guys, for everything you did for our wedding! It meant so much to us. Also, I'm so glad that you brought Apia! Next time we visit, we are going to have to bring that boy some NC barbeque! Thanks again!
