Dave and Danielle are Engaged!

This weekend we had the great pleasure of shooting Dave and Danielle's engagement photos. We had a crazy weekend with family in town (we even made a trip down to Washington, D.C.- more photos to come). Shout outs to Dave and Danielle for being so flexible with our hectic schedule! We ended up going down to Tide Point on Sunday evening just as the sun was setting. The lighting was fantastic and these two were very sweet together. Congratulations to you both! Here are a few of our favorites from the shoot...

Under Armour Family Fun Day

Last weekend, we finally got a taste of the summer. We headed over to Camp Milldale for Under Armour's Annual Family Fun Day. It was deliciously hot on Saturday and like always, Under Armour went all out. There were hamburgers and hot dogs hot off the grill, fresh-squeezed lemonade, sno-cones, funnel cakes, you name it...Thankfully, there was also a pool to cool off from the 90+ temperature. Apia showed off his swimming trunks for the first time, and got his first taste of a swimming pool (I mean that literally). Here's to summer!

Andrea and Ben Tie the Knot in NYC!

Last Wednesday, I had the pleasure to accompany Andrea and Ben to New York City to photograph their wedding ceremony at the Brooklyn Courthouse. These two had the fabulous idea to have a destination wedding in the Big Apple. For me this meant plenty of photographing opportunities despite looming clouds overhead for most of the morning. From the cozy Bed & Breakfast on the Park, to the streets of NYC, we were able to get some awesome shots of these two as they made their way to the Brooklyn Municipal Building to tie the knot. We celebrated the occasion with a scrumptious cupcake from Lassen and Hennigs Deli in Brooklyn Heights. These two kept it simple, but their sophisticated style was timeless. Congratulations to you both and thank you for letting me be part of your day!

Andrea and Ben New York

In front of the Bed and Breakfast. This place was awesome...charming, elegant, and very cozy.

A view from the front of the B & B.

Andrea and Ben stayed in the Lady Liberty suite...as the name implies, on clear days it has a distant view of the Statue of Liberty.

As they were getting ready, their were some tunes playing on this antique radio.

This orchid was in their suite when they arrived...it looked stunning with the light shining in on it from the balcony!

A room with a view.

Heading to the courthouse.

Looking serious before the big event.

The corsage had a hint of red in it to match Andrea's stylish shoes!

Showing off those pumps!

Lovin' on the subway.

Once at the courthouse, Andrea and Ben waited in line to be called into the chapel.

After waiting in line for about an hour, the ceremony took all of 2 minutes!

A celebratory hug.

So many goodies to choose from at Lassen and Hennigs.

Yum!

Kissing his bride!
